Jungle Bells

During this event, the Northern Frontier is transformed into the Holiday Forest with Christmas lights and decorated trees. There are also musicians, dancers, carolers, and even an animal-themed rendition of “The Night Before Christmas”.

San Diego Bay Parade of Lights

The San Diego Bay Parade of Lights puts a fun twist on a traditional holiday parade. Instead of riding down the streets, this is a boat parade that takes place on the San Diego Bay!

Every year, it takes on a unique theme, with 2019’s theme being “Comic-Con on the Bay”! While there are plenty of places you can see this parade from, the best vantage points are on the shore areas of Embarcadero, Harbor Island, Seaport Village, and Coronado.

Rady Children’s Ice Rink

Who says you can’t enjoy a winter wonderland in San Diego? From mid-November through the beginning of January, Liberty Station holds Rady Children’s Ice Rink (formally called Fantasy on Ice).

For only $15 ($13 for children), you get to enjoy a fun day of ice skating. But the best part is that all proceeds go to the Peckham Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Rady Children’s Hospital.
